The entire site is subject to French and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property. Any reproduction, even partial use of the texts, photos, illustrations, without prior written authorization is prohibited, under penalty of prosecution.

Article 1 - Contract

This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in guest rooms. The best welcome will be reserved for guests. Le Clos Marguerite undertakes to provide a personal welcome with all the attention required to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.

 

 

Article 2 - Length of stay

The customer who signs this contract concluded for a fixed period may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.

 

 

Article 3a - Booking formalities

At the time of booking, the owner invites the customer to check the details of this booking:

contact details, in particular e-mail address and mobile phone number so that they can be contacted before and during the reservation comments or special requests the room reserved - the number of people - the date of arrival - the number of nights the total price of the reservation, the amount indicated including VAT of 10% and the tourist tax indicated in addition.

 

If the booking is in accordance with expectations, we invite the customer to confirm the booking. 

By paying, the customer confirms their full agreement with the terms and conditions specified below.

 

Article 4 - Rates

The rates shown are prices per room, all taxes included, per night, breakfast included, tourist tax not included.

Rates do not include any additional services.

 

 

 

Article 5 - Tourist tax 

The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner, who then passes it on to the Treasury.

The current rate is 0.80 euros per person per night.

 

 

 

Article 6a - Arrival 

The customer must arrive on the day and at the time specified in this contract.

In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must inform the owner and the owner is entitled to refuse.

 

We accept late arrivals only on request and up to a maximum of 9.30 pm.

Article 6b - Arrival and departure times

The customer must arrive on the day of booking, at the time agreed with the guest house, between 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

The customer must give advance notice by telephone if he/she is forced to arrive before or after this time.

 

The customer must leave the room before 11.00 am.

 

 

 

Article 7 - Cancellation of the stay by the customer

Any change to the booking, date or room, is only possible with the agreement of the owner and may result in additional charges, and will be subject to availability on the date of the change.

 

The stay is non-refundable.

In the event of force majeure (serious illness, hospitalisation, covid, death), we will issue a credit note, valid for 1 year from the date of your online booking.

 

In the event of early departure during your stay, the full amount of the service booked will be due.

 

 

 

Article 8 - Cancellation of the holiday by the owner

In the event of cancellation of the holiday by the owner, he must inform the customer by e-mail to the attention of the customer. The customer, without prejudice to any claims for damages, will be reimbursed immediately for all sums paid. The owner will make every effort to offer you a booking with a colleague in the same geographical area, offering the same or similar services.

 

 

 

Article 9 - No-shows

In the event of a no-show, no refund will be given.

 

 

 

Article 10 - Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 8.00 am to 9.30 am from Monday to Saturday and from 9.00 am to 10.30 am on Sundays and public holidays.

Any special requests (intolerances, allergies, etc.) must be specified to the owner at the time of booking.

 

 

 

Article 11 - Use of the premises

In order to preserve the tranquillity of the premises and the comfort of our guests, a certain "art de vivre" is required of each of our guests staying with us.

 

It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the rooms or in the house.

A terrace is available, with ashtrays on request.

Cigarette butts must not be thrown on the floor, in the bins or in the toilets.

 

The movement in the rooms and in the staircase must be done in silence.

We kindly ask our guests to respect the quiet of the night and not to come and go from the rooms between 11 pm and 8 am. The tea and coffee area is also off-limits between 11 pm and 8 am.

 

The decoration of our 3 rooms, and in particular the materials and objects used, must be carefully respected.

 

For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to use any of the following on the premises:

open flames such as matches, lighters, candles, Armenian paper, etc...

lighting devices with naked flames, candelabras, candles, light fittings, etc.

 

Customers undertake to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay and to declare systematically - and assume financially - any damage for which they are responsible.

 

As the rooms have been decorated and furnished with passion by the owners, guests are asked to respect the objects made available to them. Any undeclared disappearance of an object will be invoiced to the customer at its replacement value.

 

Guests' attention is drawn to the fact that minors on the property are under the sole and entire responsibility of their parents or guardians.

 

 

 

Article 12 - Pets

For reasons specific to Le Clos Marguerite, pets are not permitted.

 

We would like to inform our guests of the presence of Toscane, our Bernese Mountain dog, and Charlotte, our British longhair kitty. Our 2 mascots will be delighted to welcome you to their home!

 

 

 

Article 13 - Capacity

This contract is drawn up for a specific number of people. If the number of guests exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse additional guests.

 

Le Clos Marguerite does not accept groups, parties or stag or hen parties.

All bookings for weddings must be made in writing to Le Clos Marguerite, which reserves the right to accept or refuse the booking, in order to preserve the premises and the peace and quiet of the other guests and owners present.

 

This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of contract at the initiative of the owner, so that in the event of the departure of a number of clients greater than those refused, no reimbursement can be envisaged.

 

 

 

Article 14 - Deposit

A deposit may be required for any damage caused during your stay. The amount is calculated according to the damage. Or on agreement the civil responsibility of the people concerned.
